Golden Rose UK website launches

Tonight has seen the launch of the Golden Rose UK website, and things are looking good.

Golden Rose has been established in the US for a few years but has now finally branched out to the UK. They cover all kinds of products from lipstick to eyeshadow to foundation and the prices aren't too bad either.

Without getting hand's on with the products (which I will when I get some money!) I can't discuss the quality, but I can give a round up of some of the best looking products I've spotted.

Jolly Jewels Nail Lacquer  These are really on trend at the moment and this range looks like it could be a good dupe for the Illamasqua speckle polishes. I shall have to research this and get back to you. Saying this though I think they look good and will almost certainly work their way into my, already overflowing, nail varnish box.

                                     

24 Colour Eye Pallette For Spring greens and blues are big news and this palette has a great selection of these colours to try out. If you have hazel eyes, you really need to try out green eyeshadow it will make your eye colour really zing!

Diamonds Body and Face Powder I love these powder and brush combos, they really take the worry out of having powder in your bag and it exploding everywhere. This range has a couple of different shades to choose from too, including a white shade which could be a good night time highlighter.

The one thing that does trouble me a little with this site is the prices. They are cheap, but when you convert the prices on the US site to GBP we are paying more. For example, the Golden Rose lipstick is $3.49 which is £2.30, however the UK site has it priced at £5.49. This price difference is most likely down to importing and shipping and, even at the higher price than in the US, the items are still priced well.
